Coronavirus / COVID-19 Alert / Preparedness

Suffice it to say, our industry finds itself in an unprecedented time.   As we all continue to take measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, we must also stay on top of rapidly emerging developments.

Chicago Title Agency of North Central Ohio, Inc. continues to conduct business in a highly responsible and socially conscious manner.

As a key supplier of services in our network, we act as an extension of Fidelity National Title Agency.  As such, it is of utmost importance that we also take measures to take key preparedness steps, to monitor development and perform diligently/responsibly.

In the course of providing title services and conducting closings with the parties to each transaction, please ensure the following protocols are being followed:

  •    Please let me know if any questions or concerns are at hand.
  •    CDC guidance can be found in this link:

Take basic preventive measures and safety precautions that may help to reduce the risk of contracting the coronavirus or spreading it, including:

    • Do not SHARE pens, etc. Have plenty of pens available for closings and let clients keep them.
    • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects of others.
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, as germs spread quickly this way. Also, avoid shaking hands or similar forms of greetings, where possible.
    • Be cognizant about personal hygiene, such as hand washing often with soap and water, and utilizing hand sanitizer.
    • Keep hand sanitizer available around the office, at your desk, by copy machines, conference rooms, and break rooms/kitchens. Have disinfectant wipes available for areas touched by many people
    • Covering sneezes or coughs with tissues, if possible, or else with a sleeve or shoulder.
    • Avoiding close contact with people who are sick.  If you are showing any signs of illness, let me know,  and do not come to work.
